Certified Postpartum Doula · 15 mothers through early postpartum

Arrive postpartum with a plan, not chaos.

Twenty weeks of guided recovery with Ciara, starting as early as 36 weeks of pregnancy — pelvic floor first, phased rebuild, and a lifetime protocol that’s yours to keep.

Who it’s for

For the mother who deserves more than a 6-week clearance.

Most postpartum care ends at the 6-week appointment. Real recovery is just beginning. Monarch Mothers is the program for women who want a phased, clinically informed plan — one that respects the first 30 days, restores the pelvic floor before adding load, and rebuilds strength on a foundation that lasts. Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, this is recovery done properly.

Enrollment is rolling — you can start any week of the year. A short intake anchors the program to where you actually are: pregnant, early postpartum, or further along.

Why this matters

Postpartum recovery is the most underbuilt phase of women’s health.

The default plan — 6 weeks of rest, then back to whatever you were doing — is not a plan. It’s a gap. Pelvic floor dysfunction, core disconnection, and emotional dysregulation are not rare. They are the predictable result of skipping the rebuild.

Monarch Mothers exists to close that gap, with a program that is phased, never rushed, and built to be kept for life.

6 weeks

is when most postpartum care ends. Tissue, hormones, and the nervous system are still actively recovering long after.

20 weeks

is the full Monarch Mothers arc — phased through The Held Phase, Intro, and Rebuild.

The 20-week journey

Three phases. Held first, then coached.

Recovery has a sequence. Each phase must be complete before the next begins — that’s what makes the strength stick.

Days 1–30

The Held Phase

Rest without guilt. The 5-5-5 rule, breath work, and pelvic floor reconnection. No coaching yet — just held.

Weeks 5–8

Phase 1: Intro

A safe return to motion. Reacquaintance with movement, no metrics, no pushing. Coaching begins gently.

Weeks 9–20

Phase 2: Rebuild

Building lasting strength on a functional foundation. Loaded movement, progressive structure, real momentum.

Inside each phase

What recovery actually looks like, week by week.

Days 1–30

The Held Phase.

The first 30 days are not athletic. They are clinical. Tissue is healing, hormones are shifting, and the nervous system is recalibrating. Slowing down is not optional — it’s the work.

  • The 5-5-5 rule: 5 days within 5 feet of the bed, 5 days on the bed, 5 days around the bed
  • Diaphragmatic breath and gentle pelvic floor reconnection
  • Permission to do less, with a real plan for when to do more
  • A built-in pause before any movement begins
Phase philosophy

“She’s not being coached yet — just held. Coaching starts when her body is ready.”

Weeks 5–8

Phase 1: Intro.

A safe return to motion. The body has begun to settle, and we begin to reintroduce movement — slowly, deliberately, and with the pelvic floor leading the sequence.

  • Reacquaintance with movement — no metrics, no pushing
  • Pelvic floor under low load, with breath as the anchor
  • Core reconnection before any abdominal work
  • Week 5 check-in: how the body is responding, where to ease off, where to lean in
Phase philosophy

“Strength is only built on top of a functional foundation. Never before it.”

Weeks 9–20

Phase 2: Rebuild.

Twelve weeks of progressive, loaded movement. By the end of week 20, you are stronger, more regulated, and more confident in your body than you were before this baby. Not bouncing back — moving forward.

  • Progressive loading, structured by week
  • Compound movements with pelvic floor integration throughout
  • Week 12 check-in: tracking strength, confidence, and how the work is landing
  • Week 20 graduation: handover of the forever protocol
Phase philosophy

“Strong, capable, confident — the strongest version of the mother you’ve now become.”

Included with The Foundation

Your planning call with Ciara.

After you enroll, you book a call with Ciara — included — to anchor the program to your body. If you’re pregnant, we walk through your birth preferences, your support system, and the 5-5-5 rule so you arrive postpartum with a plan. If you’re already postpartum, we meet you where your body actually is and start from the phase that fits.

Most programs hand you content and walk away. The Foundation starts with a conversation — so the first thing the program does is meet you, before any movement begins.

From mothers in the program

Real recovery, in their words.

“After four pregnancies, I can honestly say this is the best I’ve done postpartum — physically and mentally. I’ve been able to lose weight, gain muscle, and feel more confident, all while maintaining (and actually improving) my milk supply. My pelvic floor and core stability are much stronger, sooner in recovery, than after any of my previous pregnancies.”

Kelsie M.
After her fourth — strength + milk supply

“Ciara’s program gave me the motivation and accountability to start moving my body postpartum sooner than I would have on my own. I really benefited from the mind and body connection — and Ciara was amazing to work with, answering any questions I had.”

Brielle J.
Mind-body connection — early postpartum

“After about a week and a half I could already feel a bit stronger. With my first I did a little bit of rehab, but nothing like this — I can tell a huge difference in my core and pelvic floor.”

Leesa B.
After her second — core + pelvic floor

“Ciara’s postpartum program helped me get back to myself, and I looked forward to exercise every day. It helped me get stronger, better endurance, and healed my diastasis recti / deep core fully. I could not recommend Ciara’s program more — I will be doing it with all my babies.”

Before you begin

Monarch Mothers is coaching, not medical care, and is not a substitute for clinical pelvic floor physical therapy. Before you start any movement phase, get clearance from your OB-GYN or healthcare provider. If something feels wrong in your body during the program — pain, bleeding, or anything else — pause and check in with your provider first.

Common questions

What mothers ask before enrolling.

I’m already postpartum — can I still enroll?
Yes. After you enroll, a short intake form tells Ciara exactly where you are — pregnant, early postpartum, or further along — and the program starts from the phase that actually fits. The planning call anchors to your real starting point, not a textbook one.
Is this only for first-time mothers?
No — in fact, many of the mothers in the program are on their second, third, or fourth baby. Recovery doesn’t get easier with experience, and “snapping back” from previous babies often masks pelvic floor and core issues that compound over time. Monarch Mothers is built to address that.
What does the 5-5-5 rule actually mean?
5 days within 5 feet of the bed (gentle movement to keep blood moving), 5 days on the bed, 5 days around the bed. It’s the structure for the first 15 days postpartum — clinical, not cautious. It protects the pelvic floor in the most fragile window of recovery and gives the nervous system the space it needs to settle. It’s one of the few things in this program that isn’t flexible.
How much time per week does the program take?
The Held Phase (days 1–30) is mostly rest, breath, and gentle reconnection — minutes a day, not hours. Phase 1 (weeks 5–8) introduces movement at 20–30 minutes, 3 times a week. Phase 2 (weeks 9–20) builds to 45 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week. The structure flexes around feeding, sleep, and how the body is responding.
Do I need a gym?
No. The Held Phase and Phase 1 are designed to be done at home with no equipment. Phase 2 introduces loaded work — that can be done with a small set of dumbbells at home, or in a gym if you have one. Either way, the program adapts.
I’m comparing Monarch Mothers to other postpartum programs — what makes it different?

The parts we can speak to directly:

  • Twenty weeks, not six. Most postpartum care wraps at the 6-week clearance. Monarch Mothers holds you through Phase 2, which is where lasting strength actually gets built.
  • Phased and held, not flat and on-demand. The Held Phase (days 1–30) is deliberately not coaching. Phase 1 introduces movement. Phase 2 builds strength. Each phase only unlocks when the one before it is complete — that’s different from an app library where every workout is available on day one.
  • Led by a Certified Postpartum Doula. Ciara holds a postpartum doula certification alongside her coaching work — so the program is built around how postpartum recovery actually goes, not just generic fitness.
  • A protocol you keep. At week 20 you receive a permanent PDF — yours for this baby and every baby after, updated annually. Most programs end when the membership ends.
  • Refund terms you can see before you pay. 72-hour cooling-off, full refund on pregnancy loss. Most programs bury this or don’t offer it at all.

If you’re weighing us against a specific program and want to talk it through, write to us — Ciara would rather have the conversation than sell you the wrong fit.

How is this different from a postpartum trainer or pelvic floor PT?
A pelvic floor PT treats specific dysfunction. A postpartum trainer rebuilds strength. Monarch Mothers does both, in sequence, across 20 weeks — with the emotional and structural support of a coach who is in your corner from kickoff through Phase 2 graduation. It’s a program, not an appointment.
What is the forever protocol?
At week 20, you receive a permanent PDF that documents your complete 20-week recovery — the sequencing, the load progression, the cues, the protocols. It’s yours to keep, updated annually, and built so you have a real reference for this baby and every baby after.
What if I have a question once I’ve enrolled?
Every mother gets the full written protocol and FAQ library to reference, plus the planning call with Ciara where you can ask whatever’s on your mind before the program starts. After that, if you need ongoing 1:1 support, Ciara’s direct-coaching option is something she introduces on the call, for the mothers it’s right for.
Can I pay over time?
Yes — payment plan options are available at checkout.
What’s your refund policy?
Enrollment is non-refundable once your planning call with Ciara has happened, or once program content is delivered. Two exceptions: a 72-hour cooling-off window from purchase where you can change your mind for any reason, and a full refund on pregnancy loss, no questions asked. If something feels off before you enroll, write to us first — we’d rather talk than collect.
What happens after I enroll?
Immediately: a confirmation email with the link to book your planning call with Ciara, plus your onboarding link to the program app. You’ll fill out a short intake so Ciara knows exactly where you are (pregnant, early postpartum, or further along). The full program opens in your app right away. If you enroll pregnant, you’ll receive the pre-baby materials first, with the movement phases unlocking on their clinical schedule.
